We invited Joseph Yang, a Partner at PatentEsque Law Group, LLP and a Lecturer at Stanford, for a special meeting this weekend. He gave us a short lecture about 2021 update on standard essential patents (SEPs) and then we had an interactive discussion. It has been relatively quiet year compared to last year when it comes to SEPs. His lecture was also an excellent review of the big year of 2020.
