Arrival of the AI-Native Era in Patent Practice

The CHIZAI Toastmasters Club recently hosted a special session with Eric from Patlytics on AI applications in legal and IP practice. While Eric could have easily focused on showcasing Patlytics’ specific services, he instead dedicated the entire session to a thoughtful and comprehensive overview of AI—covering the benefits of adoption, practical use cases, and key considerations for implementation. In an era where many practitioners feel mounting pressure to adopt AI or risk being left behind, Eric’s presentation served as a vital reminder: in times of rapid change, the priority should not be to rush into specific tools, but to maintain a broad perspective and move forward with steady, well-considered integration. It was an incredibly insightful session for all of us, and we are deeply grateful to Eric for so generously sharing his time and expertise.
