Break the ice! This is one of the most difficult parts at a meeting. But the Toastmasters education program chooses it as the very first project. We had three new members this evening and all of them tried the icebreaker project. They did an excellent job! I think they learned a lot. At the same time, it is an exciting trigger for existing members to remember their own first speech. And that is why we get together for practicing public speaking in English.
会話の口火を切れ！これは会議でもっとも難しい役割の１つです。それなのに、トーストマスターズの教育プログラムでは、これがまさに最初のプロジェクトとして選定されているのです。今夕に３名の新会員が参加し、全員が「アイスブレイカー」プロジェクトに挑戦しました。とても素晴らしい内容でした！ みなさん、多くのことを学んだと思います。それと同時に、既存メンバーにとっても、アイスブレーカーは、自分自身の最初のスピーチを思い出すエキサイティングなきっかけとなります。だからこそ、みんなで集まって、英語のパブリックスピーキングを練習するんですね。
