We invited Mochizuki-san to a special program "Is Data Intangible Asset like IP?" this morning. Data is categorized as an intangible asset and it can also be called IP in some aspects since data have at least non-rivalrous and non-excludable natures in common with IP. The lecture was very interesting. What we noticed today was that data management is still remote from transitional IP professionals. We need to keep having casual conversation like we did today to keep ourselves updated about issues of data and privacy. Thank you, Mochizuki-san, for the fabulous lecture!
