COVID-19 has changed almost everything about a meeting. We tried a hybrid meeting this evening for the first time. Some attended physically and others remotely. If we had tried it six months ago, no one would have known what to do. Now, it is not a big deal. 2020 may be called the first year of "teleconference for everyone." No stress, no disconnection, no time lag. It was amazing. And it was more amazing because no one was very excited about the fact we did it successfully. It is new normal.
COVID-19によって、ミーティングに関するほとんどのことが変わってしまいました。今夕、初めてハイブリッド・ミーティングに挑戦しました。会場に来た人もいれば、リモート参加した人もいました。６ヶ月前にやろうとしたとすれば、どうすれば良いか誰もわからなかったでしょう。今となっては、大したことではありません。2020年は「誰もがテレカンファレンス」元年と呼ばれるかもしれません。ストレスなし、接続切れなし、タイムラグなし。これはすごいことです。しかし、うまく行ったという事実にあまり驚かないことの方がもっと驚くべきことです。これが、ニューノーマルです。
