One of the benefits of Toastmasters club is to get inspired by other members. We are a group of professionals, so we need to intentionally broaden our horizons. All speeches and evaluations were inspiring last night. The topics ranged from gene editing to PDCA and intellectual disability. One evaluator noticed side-stepping technique in a Q&A session in a speech project one of the speakers tried. Many of us have to focus on a couple of fields at work, which can get us silo-minded.
