CHIZAI Toastmasters club had a joint event with a Silicon Valley meetup group, Discussion of Patents this morning in Japan and in the evening in California. We had two excellent speakers, Sam Davis and Deepa Krishna. We discussed prior art searching. One thing that may be good to share here is that prior art searching technologies may be changing business incentives by reducing cost, which will probably guide us to a better patent world with more certainty.
In this pandemic, many webinars are available around the world. But our virtual meeting was unique. It was like an open and casual chat. This is one of the values of our club. We always welcome a new member.
