Two AST Vice Presidents, Ray Strimaitis and Mihir Patel, joined us at a virtual special program. Ray shared his lessons he learned at IBM and Yahoo. In this context, we learned AST supplies a collective mechanism that is necessary but one company cannot set up. Mihir showed us data about patent transaction. One hour was not enough. But we don't have to regret it. What we are learning in the midst of COVID-19 pandemic is that even cross-border networking is not so difficult. We are certain that we will have another round of discussion with them.
ASTのVice PresidentであるRay StrimaitisさんとMihir Patelさんが、バーチャルの特別プログラムに参加してくれました。RayさんがIBMとYahooで学んだ教訓を共有してくれました。この流れで、企業に必要とされているが１社では用意できない集団的な仕組みをASTが提供していることを学びました。Mihirさんは特許取引に関するデータを示してくれました。１時間では時間が足りませんでした。しかし後悔する必要はありません。COVID-19で学んでいることは、国境を超えた交流であってもそれほど難しくないということです。きっと彼らともう一度議論する機会があるでしょう。
