CHIZAI Toastmasters Club invited Chun Kuo, Director & Associate General Counsel, IP Analysis and Support at Hewlett Packard Enterprise for the special session about new IP Licensing Models. He gave us a talk about the Low Carbon Patent Pledge and Aliante that HPE is shaping with other companies and organizations. We learned basic concepts of the new licensing models. Because they are young and strategic, I think each participants had different views on them. But, I think we agreed that an IP team needs to address IP issues agilely to keep up with the speed of business development and open innovation.
