Today, 10 regular members and 2 new members joined our regular meeting. We held a welcome ceremony and one of the new members gave a speech. The other new member will give a speech at the next regular meeting.
The first speaker is a member who will move from Japan to the USA. This member talked about memories in Japan and shared experiences about cultural differences when moving to another country. This was a valuable chance for members who have not moved internationally to learn something new.
The second speaker talked about a lecture on intellectual property at a university. This speaker tries to make the lecture titles interesting to attract students. From the viewpoint of the company's intellectual property department, it is very encouraging that many students learn the basics of intellectual property at university.
The third speaker introduced his rich career. By taking action, you can gain many experiences, and sometimes, it brings he good luck too.
This is the report of today's regular meeting. We look forward to active discussions and new insights at the next meeting as well.
本日のレギュラーミーティングには、10名のレギュラーメンバーと2名の新規メンバーが参加しました。新規メンバーのうち1名に対しては歓迎セレモニーを実施し、スピーチも行っていただきました。もう1名の新規メンバーには、次回のレギュラーミーティングでのスピーチを依頼しています。
一人目のスピーカーは、日本を離れてアメリカに引っ越しすることになったメンバーです。このメンバーには、日本での思い出を語っていただきました。また、国を移動することで生じるカルチャーギャップについても共有していただきました。国際移動の経験がないメンバーにとって、新たな気づきを得る貴重な機会となりました。
二人目のスピーカーは、大学での知的財産に関する講義についてお話しいただきました。このスピーカーは、講義のタイトルなどに工夫を凝らし、受講者の興味を引くよう努めているとのことです。企業の知的財産部の立場からすると、大学で知的財産の基礎を学んだ学生が増えることは非常に心強いと感じました。
三人目のスピーカーには、ご自身の豊富な経歴について紹介していただきました。行動することにより、多くの経験を得られることはもちろんですが、それによって幸運ももたらされることがあるとのことです。
