On September 27th, 2023, we held a regular meeting with 11 members and 1 regular lively guest.
The highlight of this meeting was a discussion of the ethics of AI. AI has leaped with an unbelievable speed. And current AI is very similar to human beings in some ways. Thus, we have to consider the ethics of AI as experts of Intellectual property. Of course AI is different from us, but AI has the possibility to behave ethically. There are many aspects to consider, therefore this discussion was too complicated.
Further, almost all members worked hard during the day, this meeting might seem to have been tough and unmirthful for such people. But, don’t worry, it was mirthful enough. Thus, we proactively join this meeting after hard work.
9月27日に12名(メンバー11名、レギュラーゲスト1名)で通常例会を開催しました。
例会のハイライトは、AIの倫理に関するディスカッションでした。AIは急速に進歩し、現在のAIには人類に近い面すらあります。そのため、我々は知財の専門家としてAIの倫理について考えておく必要があります。もちろんAIは我々とは異なりますが、倫理的に振る舞う可能性はあります。ただ多くのことを考慮する必要があるため、このディスカッションは複雑なものとなりました。
また、多くのメンバーは忙しなく働いた後でこの例会に参加しています。そのため、この例会はそういったメンバーにとって困難でつまらないものであるように見えるかもしれません。でも心配不要です。例会は十分に楽しめるものでした。だからこそ多くのメンバーが仕事で疲れていようと例会に積極的に参加します。
