Small talk over coffee

We had a regular meeting last week. There, one prepared speaker gave us an "impromptu" speech. That prompted me to write this blog. A Toastmasters meeting has three parts: impromptu speech, prepared speech, and evaluation. Because English is a second language for Japanese, a prepared speech may be the most comfortable for those who has been a Toastmaster for one year or so. One of the benefits of Toastmasters is that we gradually get used to impromptu speech. Let's get out of our comfort zone or zone of "prepared speech" and enjoy thrilling impromptu speech! Be a master of small talk over coffee!
