His presentation and our discussion reminded me of the methodology proposed by Landing AI, which says "Select and execute on a small number of initial pilot AI projects to gain momentum. Better to have initial wins and incorporate learnings." It can applies not only to software development but also to a transformation side, in this case, transformation of prior art search workflow and even all the patent and R&D managements. No AI software companies have a magic solution. It may be better to start small if you want to innovate a traditional workflow meaningfully.
