Technology Transfer

Our member, Koichiro-san made an interim report of his research at the University of Washington in Seattle on technology transfer from university to industry at a special program this weekend. His report had three pillars: virtuous cycle of capital, knowledge and human resources. Each part came with interesting perspectives inspired by interviews with technology transfer professionals at CoMotion of the University of Washington. All participants were impressed with the quality of research. We were lucky to learn his findings at this stage. I personally like to listen to findings at an interim stage because I can see "ingredients" that may be dismissed in a final report.
