Changes seem to be taking place in the field of IP in China as well. Our guest speakers, Mr. Walker SHI and Mr. Peter ZHANG, explained the policy change behind the decrease in number of filing new applications since 2019 in China, the measures to achieve the shorter examination period while improving the quality of examination, and the influences of "China-US trade war" on new draft Patent Law of China in the direction of extending more protection to patent holders.
