We are very lucky to have a member, Koichiro-san, who studies technology transfer from university in Seattle. He does not rely too much on secondary resources in his research. Instead, he had interviews with experts in the technology transfer sector. It sounded that the interviews gave him unique perspectives in identifying specific issues especially when he analyzed cases. Based on his progress report, we can say that successful university startups have something in common: keeping the connection with a university community and make the most of it especially in expanding professional network.
